I grew up in Conroe, but haven't been back in several years! I was passing through town on a beautiful day and decided to checkout the downtown square to see what was new. I happened upon this restaurant. When you first walk in its a bar type of ordering area, which caught me off guard BUT - your are IMMEDIATELY greeted and pulled in by the friendly staff. She helped me order a ramen bowl and allowed me to sample their broth, which she said is a family recipe and not written but passed down! Yall. This was so good. There is plenty of seats in the adjoining building as well. I loved this place, the food and the people. Plus they have bubble tea!! Hello?!
Came here on my way to Houston. Heard good things about this theme restaurant. It was good, very small, I thought it was bigger from the pictures, to be honest. I got the dragon ball pho. It was good. I like that the size was decent but not huge. I also like what they did with the place. They tried to make it all Dragon Ball Z memorabilia.
Was out in lake Conroe for a friend's birthday last weekend and he loves anime so we had to make a stop here! Be prepared for a a little wait in line IF you're behind a group that decided to think about what they want at the register instead of being nice and going to sit down first. Very cool DBZ decor you'll definitely want to take pics of. The staff is nice and happy to explain anything on the menu. If you want to dine in they send you immediately next door to The Corner Pub. Very different vibe but more room for larger groups. If it's not too hot you can eat right outside on their super longer table with every DBZ character on it. If I'm ever out in this downtown Conroe area again I'll probably stop by for a quick bite.
There aren't enough good things I can say about this place. Immediately when we walked in we were greeted by the woman up front who was absolutely phenomenal and had so many recommendations. I tried to get her name, but it got too crowded before I could. I believe it started with an A. The food was so delicious and flavorful. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out. I got the Dragon Ball Pho while my husband got the Ultra Pho Fusion. Two thumbs up!!
